    1. [6][P]
      Lau's fastest mid is safe and hit-checkable into its High follow-up against crouching opponent or on CH.
      After [6][P][P] Lau can enter Kokei by inputting [P][+][K][+][G] from which he can launch the opponent with Kokei [3][P].

    2. [4][6][P]
      Lau's fastest launcher. A High that's very safe on block, one of his best spacing tool to punish whiffs.

    3. [2_][3][P][P][+][K]
      Lau's best move and what you'll get the most damage from in his gameplan.
      Lau's offense is quite weak as it lacks a safe mid launcher but it's balanced with the best High whiff punisher in the game: [2_][3][P][P][+][K]. As a Lau player you'll be rewarded for patience and reactions on defense, if you can reliably punish whiffed throws after fuzzying them you're more than halfway into being a monster with Lau.

    4. [3][P]
      A very important mid poke, very safe on block with great range, it's hit-confirmable into [3][P][P][K] on NH.
      Also, its follow-up has good tracking if the 1st part was evaded.

    5. [3][3][P][P]
      Lau's best long range tool, has insane reach and is easily hit-confirmable into [3][3][P][P][K].
      It's good as long range whiff punisher and as block pressure. It's Mid,High but the 1st part jails into the 2nd on block, [P][+][K][+][G] enters Kokei from which [3][P] launches opponent's fastest abare.

    6. [1][P]
      A High crush double handed Ex Low, which means that it gets blocked by standing guard.
      An anti-Sabaki tool, it has good range and is safe if blocked or evaded.
      It can be used instead of [2][P] to interrupt strings as [1][P] doesn't get backdashed in those situations.

    7. [3][K]
      Lau's "Side Kick", one of the best reaching in the game, Side Kicks give a special stun against backdash.

    8. [4][P][+][K][P][+][K]
      Lau's most rewarding launcher against throws (100pts against most of the cast), can be used when fuzzy isn't an option to scare opponent from doing throws. It also has High crushing properties.

    9. [4][P][+][K][P]
      Lau's offense focal point. A slow Mid CH launcher that can enter Kokei from which [3][P] launches opponent fastest abare on block. It's Mid, High but has jailing properties. This move needs to be tied with spacing to make it so it gets either blocked or connects on NH/CH. The 2nd part can be delayed to track after the 1st part was evaded.

    10. [4][6][P][+][K]
      Lau's main launcher, a safe on block Half Circular that guarantees [4][6][P] on CH.
      Does a lotta damage but is High.

    11. [6][P][+][K][+][G]
      A relatively fast Guard Break, guarantees [4][6][P]. A High, easily punishable if read and crouched under.

      All those are some of Lau's best moves but the real best moves in the game are the correctly timed Trinity:
