I am honestly really enjoying this ongoing series by Wireman FGC!

Please spread the word, these videos do take time to create and edit and Wireman FGC has worked out the concept and executed it well so far! These bite-sized conceptual videos really will help a lot of friends better understand VF!

In two articles on dashfight.com, Graziano Fabiano (Gillstolemyride) interviewed various members of the VF community - AdamYuki, Blessy, BlitzballChamp, Juicebox, Mister, Sabin, TPT, and Tricky. In the latest article, you can read how theirs and others contributed in keeping the VF scene alive for so many years without any new game (or remake!) to garner interest.

Ultimate Showdown has been out for a month and events are occurring more frequently. Just this past weekend we have 7 organized events from all over the world! Here is a summary of the various events with links to brackets and videos.

At Evo Japan 2020 VF5FS was held as an official side tournament. It was capped at 64 entrants, heavily stacked with local Japanese talent and saw a thrilling Grand Finals played out between rising star Shiwapon and the legendary Homestay Akira! Shiwapon emerged as the Evo Japan 2020 Champion, showcasing his talent with a variety of characters during the top-8. Now, more than a year later, it's time for the runback! A FT10 revenge match exhibition will be streamed live this Friday, 18th June 2021 at 20:00 JST. Details inside!

On Wednesday 16th June 2021, 12:00 PM JST, @Homestay Akira will be holding a live stream aimed at the overseas audience (that's you!). It will be streamed on @Tetsuko_Yamada's Twitch channel with translations by @Renzo. Feel free to leave your questions in advance within this thread, or save them for the stream, but be sure to tune in when it goes live!

On 10 June 2021, Virtua Fighter 5 Ultimate Showdown (Virtua Fighter esports) has been updated to Version 1.03 which sees the addition of a new Room ID search function. This should go a long way toward finding specific rooms in the ever-crowded lobby! Read on for more details on this new feature.

After a long hiatus from Virtua Fighter, @supergolden who resides in Japan has decided to check out the new Virtua Fighter esports arcade release and share his impressions!
